Diet Durban THCV:THC 1:1 produces 80% feminised plants and is a novel cannabinoid strain that is 80% sativa. It was created by crossing a landrace Thai with Caprichosa Thai. The resulting Diet Durban is shorter than either of its parents and has a shorter flowering stage. Diet Durban (THCV:THC 1:1) produces high amounts of these two particular cannabinoids (THCV, THC) in the approximate ratio 1:1 THCV:THC (7% of each), while at the same time producing only low proportions of other cannabinoids such as CBD.

Growers need to be aware that approximately 20% of plants grown indoors can display some male traits in the early stages of flowering, a characteristic that is more likely when subjected to water and /or light stress. Plants cultivated outdoors are less susceptible to this trait.

Diet Durban THCV 1:1 indoor flowering times are between 9 - 10 weeks while outdoors in the northern hemisphere harvest should be at the end of October. This late harvest time limits outdoor cultivation to regions where the autumnal weather patterns prevent rains and/or frost from damaging crops. Yields are very high although we do not as yet have any confirmed figures.

Seedsman Diet Durban THCV:THC 1:1 is flral and spicy with coniferous notes of pine as well as aniseed and some citrus undertones. The preponderance of THCV:THC produces an effect that is extremely stimulating and energetic and which, somewhat unusually, has an appetite-suppressant effect.
